The 4G64 tall deck engine has become a popular option for many looking for the ultimate in performance. The 4G64 is a direct replacement for the OE 4G63 in Evo 4-9. As standard this block has an 86.50mm bore and a 6mm taller deck, allowing for increased capacity whilst retaining favourable rod ratios.

Built to the highest standards using state of the art machining and construction techniques. Our engines have won races and broken records all over the world.

Build process is carried out to the following spec:
Block stripped and pre-cleaned
Stress relieved
All threads cleaned and checked
Boring and honing to piston specs
Deck machined to ensure completely flat mating surface
Crank assembly dynamically balanced
All rods balanced end to end
Pistons mass matched
All cylinders and oil & water ways are cleaned up and sharp edges removed
Block washed in machine
Block thoroughly steam cleaned
Block cleaned again with compressed air
Block painted
Rings Gaped using Diamond finishTM
Block re-checked for cleanliness before moving to the clean room for final blue printing & assembly
Finished short motor sealed heavy duty protective polythene bag
